Random thoughts II

Ohh yeahhh, that was the best post-drinking lunch ever. All you can eat buffet at the casino... And i won $42 on my first go at gambling, so yay.

It was Ike and Tina. The CCR version is great but not for the wii.

I don't want to work tomorrow! I hate being in charge and being nice. On a funny work note one of my little employees got lippy with the big boss and he told her that she worked for him and he didn't have to ask nicely when he told her to do something. It made me laugh because she gets mouthy with me all the time and doesn't realize that not all managers are cool with it. I also laughed because I short staffed the day when I wasn't there but made sure I had enough help when I was there. I only sort of screw myself over hehehe.

It's 6am and I'm about to go asleep, but I want to wish everyone who just celebrated or is about to celebrate, a very Happy New Year!

Ugh, I never EVER go to bed before 1:00 am, so why am I so desperately wanting to go to bed right now? It's like my subconscious mind just wants to say "Fuck you, New Years, you're the stupidest holiday of all."

But here's hoping 2012 is good... that we get a Brittana kiss, Pezberry awesomeness, Naya becoming the superstar she should be, HeMo not saying anything offensive, etc etc.

Oh yeah, and the world not ending. But the other stuff's more important.

Yeah, definitely! I really hit it off with the most gorgeous bridesmaid! There was quite a bit of touching involved.

It's 7am, I've slept I think 45 minutes so far. If I ever fall asleep I'ma wake up with a ridiculopus hangover, so I think I'ma just man up and outlast it, let the booze wear off BEFORE bed!

Hey guys! Nice to see Cora finally joining the off topic conversations.

My dad is making codfish (Portuguese style, we call it bacalhau), it's my favorite fish by miles. I'm happy.

Tomorrow morning I'm heading back home though. I'm miss home and all, but I don't want to go back to work.

We call it the same! We just spell it bacalao. I've never tasted it though. Not a fan of fish. I only like salmon.

I'm doing inventory tomorrow. Not looking forward to that either.

Usually, the codfish we have here in Brazil and also in Portugal comes from Norway.

If you ever go to Portugal or to a Portuguese restaurant, you must have bacalhau. I'm not a big fan of fish either, but bacalhau is divine.

I'm already drinking red wine, btw.

Baileys in my coffee, was the obvious solution to still being wasted this morning and it being too late to sleep.

Good morning everyone! It's already afternoon here actually. Guess how the first day of the year went so far? Yep, eating marathon with my family, as usual. I swear after this I'll eat only salad for a month.

My grandmother also loves it, and they often have it at parties and such. Maybe I'll taste it one day. I'm just such a picky eater, especially seafood.

How are you guys managing to drink this early in the day? And especially Mike who hasn't slept!
I get exhausted just reading about it

I've only slept about 4 or 5 hours though, so I'm beyond tired. But I have to get to bed at a normal hour today, since I have to get up early in the morning tomorrow.
So I'm just laying here on the sofa eating leftovers from last night and watching V. It's getting exciting, but my neighbor told me last night there isn't a proper ending to it, so I'm already bummed about that.

It's funny that I wake up and find out about an earthquake on here. I think I missed it. I didn't hear something funny that woke me up so maybe that was it. Ohio earthquakes are usually fun because they do absolutely nothing except cause conversation. I'm kind of bummed I didn't feel any shaking.

I'm still so stuffed. I ate so much yesterday - our friend cooked us a four-course meal and it was delicious!
But it's 4:30pm now and I didn't really eat anything yet - granted: I only got up about 4-5hours ago

Interestingly it was a man caused earthquake I think?

I could totally get my geo geek out here but I won't. lol

I researched and found out I didn't sleep through the earthquake. It was too far away but I did read the someone planted bombs atg a Wal-Mart that's not too far away from my town. It didn't go off so I can enjoy a chuckle because I hate that place.

I'm relieved! I have some americans on my facebook, and they were talking about it like it was a disaster. The exact words they used were "freaking huge ass earthquake", and then lots of "I hope they're alright" in various forms.
