| haha i just remembered last year, two graduates came into my italian class on their 'day X' because... I don't even know why. Anyways: they were BEYOND wasted and eventually started dancing on the tables - it was hilarious - the teacher was pretty cool about it but eventually kicked them out (in a nice way though). God - that year above me was just plain trouble... | |

In which case I really don't envy you because that website nearly broke me lol, as you know. TAM = Evil. (actually the planes are quite lovely, just getting a bloody ticket thats a problem) - MsFalange wrote:

God - that year above me was just plain trouble... I wish we'd done crazy stuff like that when we left school, but I think all we did was write on each others shirts, and then go to the pub and get drunk... nothing on school grounds though. - Shanna_ wrote:

| It was a terrible day at work. We had an upgrade that was supposed to take 4 hours instead it was 9. Everyone was so pissy by the end and I was getting blamed for stuff I didn't do. Grrrrr | |

| Sorry you had a bad day Well I'd recommend putting the tax forms in a draw for the night... Away from both you and the cat. Tax forms after a bad day sounds awful so I'd leave them for another night. | |

| I've been dilated for 5 hours now... Pupils, I mean... Sucks though. Apparently I looked really high after that and I still can't see properly. At least I got a new prescription for glasses. | |

I'm so arrogant, but freaking hell I'm awesome. And adorable. Drunk discussions are so enlightening.

| My glasses fell apart in Rio. Probably because Han looked at them, saw a crack and said: "They are going to fall apart". And it happened... So today I got an appointment with the eyes doc and for some reason they dilated my pupils. Sucked, I was driving, I needed to go back to work... That was at 4pm, and it's 9pm now and my sight is still weird. | |

| They've never done that to me. I've had glasses for almost fifteen years and not once have i had to do it. | |

| they always dilate my pupils. My doctor is so meticolous she does it twice, actually. I always have to tag my mom along so she can take me home after. What kind of glasses you wear, Isa? Are you short sighted? | |

| Don't they have the machines that take the reading without actually doing it? | |

| my doctor does it with the reading machine first, then she always goes "you know what, let's dilate the pupil, just to be absolutely sure..." | |

It was the first time I had to do it. Been wearing glasses for 10 years... They wanted to test me for something else too, but I said no. I thought it was weird. - eli_ wrote:

Yeah I've always had to just put my head in on a rest and look at a picture of a hot air balloon while they shoot some air into my eye and take some photos or readings or something?

Yes, I take full responsibility for them falling apart in your hands Bad times... Like I said I hate it when that happens... I could just see the signs... that big crack was a bit of a giveaway though.

| I went running today after a month of 0 physical activity and I have a feeling that my legs are going to sore tomorrow @Dina, yay for party/wasted high school day. I've both good and bad memories with that kind of experience @Han I guess that TAM and UBA are in same level of evilness. Specially their websites. About the pupils, they only dilate them when the doctor wants to see how things are going in a more detailed way. The last time I went to get new glasses they dilated my pupils too but when it's rutine I just have to look inside a machine with a little green point. | |

| They have some machine that does the the test the pupil without needing to dilate. It's kind of cool. They like to do that test on my vision was acting like a preteen's that is beginning it's downward spiral. | |

Anyway... this menu had me in stitches... I was laughing for ages I think my top 5 would be: 1. Rice to the Greek (!) 2. Chest of Chicken 3. Little cake of cod 4. White simple rice 5. Pastries several com 10 units At least they tried though. Brazil is so unprepared to receive tourists from other countries, it's upsetting. And this Amarelinho bar is one of the most traditional and famous in Rio. I hope we can prepare better for the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
