Lol! My sister just came in and said "you're only on that episode!? Come on! I'm already on season 2!" Lmao.

| Yep, you need to get to it!! I might watch ep 2 of Lost Girl, and then contemplate going to get the laundry in... exciting times lol. EDIT: That makes it sound like it's been a boring day, which isn't strictly true... It's been interesting.... | |

| So I just started watching Life Unexpected for Ksenia Solo. But damn that show is good! Don't know why I never bothered watching it before. Episode 10 of season 1 now, and I'm crying and it feels so gooooood | |

| I don't really remember much about that show, but I remember really liking it. I'm also on episode 10 of PLL. I had to force myself to stop watching so I could go to sleep at a decent time in order to get up for work. Lol. I'm quite impressed by their ability to split the storylines relatively equally between the characters, so far. I love Emily. I know, I know, she's quite boring, but she's so pretty! Hehe. I've only seen Maya so far, no blonde girl that Han mentioned, but I don't really like Maya. She's got quite an old face. I don't mean like actually old cuz she's only like 30 something right? But too old compared with the other girls.

| On my to-do list this weekend is to watch the last two eps of PLL that I've missed. Keep meaning too and keep coming up with other things to do. | |

| You're a little legend! Just starting episode 10 of PLL now. Might take a break from it later and watch Revenge. If only so Hannah won't nag me again. | |

| I plan on giving Revenge a chance once I'm done with Life Unexpected. It looks dreadfully boring though, from what I've seen of the commercials, but if everybody here says it's good, why not | |

| Okay, so what is up with all of these teacher/student relationships in shows these days, and portraying them like you're supposed to be rooting for them? I don't get it. And I certainly don't care if the girl is mature for her age, and the teacher just fresh out of university or whatever. It's really off-putting. Like, this could really ruin Life Unexpected for me. I've had just about enough of it in PLL. | |

| Ezra & Aria are the WORST thing about PLL. And Aria isn't "mature for her age", Ezra is just immature for his age. Despite being book smart, they are both foolish. | |

| They truly are the worst thing of PLL. And the teacher/student thing in Life Unexpected isn't a tad better at all either. Starts the same way as in PLL, they meet before school starts and yada yada yada, and goes down exactly the same route of hiding and getting their friends to lie, while the audience is supposed to be cheering them on. It SUCKS! Can't show girls kissing on TV, but an illegal relationship between a minor and her teacher is a-okay apparently | |

| Well, for thousands of years sexual/romantic relationships between young girls and older men was considered normal. Society frowning on that is relatively new. Conversely, mainstream acceptance of homosexuality and portrayal of gay relationships in the media is relatively new. There is still the instinct from many people, even if they don't hate gays, to shield children's eyes from even the most chaste of same sex kisses, where they wouldn't even think to do the same for a straight kiss. Kids movies and shows are chalk full of straight romance, but same-sex romance is considered as something for mature audiences only. Just the implication of same sex romance is enough to bump a rating up to PG-13/TV-14.
I've always wondered what it's like for children with same-sex parents or a gay parent they've always known is gay, when society tries so hard to shield children from such things.

| This conversation has made me think of an anime I have seen. It involves a teacher/student relationship, but the teacher is actually a man posing as a woman. The student is female and spends the show struggling with falling for her female teacher and what that might mean, having no idea he's really a man. And of course its a comedy.
Yes I realize I watch some weird shit....

Well, that episode was kind of a bummer, wasn't it. It felt a little "off". Maybe it was the house. And why are they not fixing Robins wardrobe? I can't stand her in those ugly clothes for another second! She used to be so fresh and classy! What is going on!?

| Here's some shows at the top of my head that may fit those categories. You may have watched, or are watching them though..
Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles Firefly Dollhouse
How I Met Your Mother The Big Bang Theory Once Upon A Time Lost Girl
And I think Cold Case is something along the lines of CSI. I only watch those shows if I'm really bored and they happen to be on though, so I'm a little unsure.

| Out of that list I have only seen Firefly, which is amazing. I actually us a lanyard for my car keys that has Browncoats, Serenity and Firefly written on it.
HIMYM and TBBT are on my list to watch already so maybe I'll start there.
Thanks! | |

| Criminal Minds and Bones are also good if you like CSI. I like Pysch and Dexter too. And True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and The Walking Dead. But I'm behind on all of these. My new favorite shows are Lost Girl and Boardwalk Empire. I still want to get into Two Broke Girls, Once Upon A Time, and Revenge. I also want to get caught up on The Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, The Good Wife, and White Collar.
There are two many shows on TV.
