I forgot to confirm my flight to Australia and realised I had to do that the day before I left. I was supposed to do it at last 48 hours before. That was a slightly stressful phone call!!

As a general rule I wing it, but I wouldn't recommend that for most people.

I'm supposed to confirm my flights with Qantas, so like, I logged in with my reference number and stuff and it says confirmed, but I didn't do anything. So, is that it? Lol.

Also, I'm not sure how my connecting flights are going to work. Like, do I have to mess about with my luggage all the way there? Because that will be annoying.

Well, technically I'm flying all the way with Qantas. The whole booking is on the Qantas site. However, my flights look like this:

London - Frankfurt = Flight operated by British Airways
Frankfurt - Singapore = Qantas flight
Singapore - Denpasar = Flight operated by Jetstar

Return:

Denpasar - Singapore = Flight operated by Jetstar
Singapore - London = Qantas flight

so...

Ok, well you may need to move your luggage at Frankfurt? I'm pretty sure that Jetstar is just the budget version of Qantas so I don't think your technically changing airlines, so that should be ok.

You might be ok even with the BA - Qantas transfer if they're partnered... which I think they are?

If you ask at the airport in London though, they will be able to tell you. Fingers crossed they take the luggage all the way.

So, met my buddy at the bar, and he shows up all in a suit and tie. He sits down and goes, "Rama?" (Which is the casino near us) I'm like, "Sure", which is followed by him doing his best Barney impersonation as he yells "SUIT UP!"

Long story short, I'm down $100, he's down $230, but it was entirely worth it simply to be the only 21-year olds in there, the only non-Chinese, and the only people in full suit and tie.

Lived a Barney Stinson day today.
