Random Thoughts IX

Good Saturday all!

Our Gm told us this morning that my best Buy is NOT going to be one of the 50 closing down this year. Thank you holy cheesus.

Interesting afternoon... On my quest to buy some gold body paint and some sweatbands (don't ask) I was approached by a rather drunk but friendly gentleman who told me I was lovely but that I shouldn't be walking alone (wtf I was in a safe enough area in the middle of the day)). He then told me I needed a man to hold my hand, not just any man but a big muscley man who can protect me because I'm lovely Ha ha ha!!

Don't know whether to be flattered or insulted. I think I'll go for flattered even though he was hammered as it's generally a nicer feeling to have.

I'm not sure if I'm more appalled by this man or by the idea of gold body paint and sweatbands...

I demand pictures later.

I'm having a rough Saturday, btw. Legs and arms are really sore. I went to the mall earlier and felt dizzy and weak. I'm thinking it's the vaccines I took yesterday. Probably spending my weekend in bed.

Tonight I'm going to try and make a video during the show. Bootleg fun from my character's perspective. Should be interesting lol.

my parents made me come to my hometown to "take care" of the house and my sister because they are traveling LOL yeah right...

I haven't been able to sleep for 2 days now maybe I need to buy one of those rifles they use to put wild animals to sleep

I think that gun might prove painful. Have you tried a calming tea or melatonin? Maybe a Kevin Costner movie? Those almost always put me to sleep.

I take sleep pills but it's all useless with me. But a Costner movie seems like the perfect solution!

Good evening all! I hope your day has been good. Just got back home from my friend. Her kids are almost exclusively speaking English now, though the understand Norwegian still. But will only answer back in their new learned language. It's the cutest thing ever!!
So I got my english speaking skills practiced today, because I felt weird talking to them in norwegian, when they wouldn't speak it.
So good to have them back though! And so glad they hadn't forgotten me. Even the youngest one, the two year old, grabbed my hand and took me outside to blow the soap bubbles I had brought them. So fun!!

For once I am going to bed at a somewhat decent hour, simply because I couldn't stay awake another second even if I tried.

Does anyone here care about the fact that the sarcoplasmic reticulum of a muscle cell releases Calcium ions throughout the cell, which bind to the protein "Troponin", thus depolarising it and changing it's shape, causing it to pull the protein "Tropomyosin" away from the myosin-binding sites on the Actin filaments, allowing the Myosin heads to then pulllll on the Actin, resulting in the sarcomere shortening from the Z-lines (and hence, muscle contraction)?

No? Me neither.

So it's my surgery next Saturday and a little freaked out but so glad to get it done
