I just came home with 3 new toys for my cat, and she was like a kid on christmas eve! I sent them over the floor to her as I was unpacking, and she sat with these big eyes watching them, and getting ready to attack, but then watching me to see if I had more. So cute
Well, not Lilly either that much. She's an indoor cat, but she likes to sit on the terrace occasionally. And she follows me everywhere, so if I go sit outside, she follows
it's normal for me, I guess, some days don't you just feel a bit down? I know I'll be better in a couple of days, don't worry. note to myself, though: never again try to watch videos of cats taking a bat. the last one made me cry. I'll never have the heart to torture my cat like that...
Yeah, we all have days like that I think. Just wanted to ask in case it was something more. Have a hug though
I've only ever "washed" my cat once, and that was a summer it was steaming hot outside, and for some reason she didn't want to eat or drink. So I put her in the shower and hosed her down, so she'd at least get water in her when she washed/dried herself off after.
The cat I had as a kid was a Persian, and they don't clean themselves, so I always had to help my mom bathe her. Fun times. Lol

Lilly is enjoying the sun and her toy!
Excuse the laughing, it's horrible! It was really funny though when Kaisa commented on how Lilly smelled my cousins socks, and that's why she moved away

She also just gave me the biggest scare of my life! She just fell down from the terrace, and we live on the 3rd floor. Thankfully I was outside hanging up clothes, so I heard her as she went over, and could run downstairs and find her.
She was okay, thank the universe! But my heart may never recover

that must have been scary! I remember when mine fell down last summer. It was from the first floor, but she was only 4 months old back then. She hurt her leg and was so scared she hid under a car for almost a hour. What happened? did she lost her balance? I'm glad she's ok.

I'm not sure how she managed to fall over. She sits out there all the time, and it's never been a problem. Maybe I caught her by surprise and scared her when I was shaking the clothes straight? I don't know. I just heard the clawing and that she hit the windows of the downstairs neighbor on her way down. Then I just looked over the railing to see if she was moving, but it was too dark to really see, so I grabbed my phone to use as a flashlight and ran downstairs. She had jumped up on one of the 1st floor neighbors terrace though, and sat there looking at me like "what happened?" when I found her.

Poor thing that time mine tripped over a pot plant. is there anything like that on the balcony? sometimes even cats lose their balance...!

I can't have anything placed on the railings, because the wind will just take it and send it crashing either one way or the other, so it's not that. I really just think that she either miscalculated as she jumped up, or that I scared her.
It turned out alright though, but I think I'll keep a more watchful eye from now on, or keep her inside and not let her follow me out there if I have to hang up clothes and such.
