Haaaa... Just had a really posh, arrogant old lady on the phone trying to dispute the decline of her claim. First she asked what a Dip Cl is because those letters are next to out loss adjuster's name, she said she has a BSc and a PHD but she's never heard of a Dip Cl. I explained that it's a diploma in claims and she huffed. Then she told me she's a researcher and a study-er(!?) of the English language and she would like a copy of the policy booklet to metaphorically rip apart. Anyway, I think she was quite shocked by my responses. See, most people from my city have an awful, common accent and have a very limited grasp of the English language, this lady has spoken to several other people in my office already who would have proved this. So, when she got through to me and her unnecessarily long and what she thought would be complicated words did not phase me and my responses were equally as long and complicated, she was thrown.

Now, football players (talking about the italian ones!) are the most useless kind of human scum IMO. They get more money in a month than the rest of us will get in a lifetime for chasing a stupid ball. Half of them is under investigation for gambling, which is illegal here. Plus, they are all braindead morons who can't even speak their own language. I have no patience with them.
So, one of the journalists asks our man "Antò, did you know that there are gays on the team?"
It took me a couple of minutes to make out his response because seriously, the guy can't use proper grammar to save his life. It was something like,
"Jesus, ew. That's them fags problem. I don't want nothing to do with this. I just hope there's no fags here." And all the journalists laughed and cheered. This is the guy that all the little kids in the nation worship like a god. And I'm pretty sure that 90% of the italian male population share his views on homosexuality.

Fucking hell this pisses me off.
And you know what? Most of my family are exactly the same because they're all from there. To quote my grandfather "all gays should burn in hell".

If that was an Australian guy who had said that, he would be copping so.much.shit. here.

Hey Eli, do you know of a man named Pino Musso there? He's been "knighted" twice or something in italy. Idk exactly what he does/if he's some politician there, but...yeah. Doubt you'd know him, but thought i'd ask.

Yep. In fact, I bought a cheap little phone just to use for Skype because the 3 network gives you Skype for free on pay as you go phones and it was eating up a lot of data and battery on my normal phone.

Yeah. That's a good idea. I was thinking about doing something similar when I used it a lot.

It is free, if you use it from a computer with wifi. 3 allows you to use it without you racking up hideous data charges on 3G.... so from anywhere (in the UK) on your mobile. It's handy if you call abroad a lot.

However, if you're on a talk plan (contract) you might have a limited amount of data usage per month, and if you're on pay as you go then from the money you top up your phone with you would pay £X per MB. However, on 3 Skype data usage is free regardless of whether you are on contract or PAYG. So when you use Skype on three you don't get charged on PAYG and you don't use up any of your allocated data on a talk plan like you would to use Skype on any other network.
