Listening to Ben Howards Album non-stop. One of the best pieces of work I ever came across. Impressively beautiful.

Kai, see if I can remember everything we're seeing today...
Billy Talent, Silversun Pickups, The Sheepdogs, Young the Giant,The Dirty Heads, and then there's another 10 or 15 local/American bands that are there all day as well, but those are the "big" ones.
I'm oddly pumped for Billy Talent and Young the Giant.

I'm educating myself on the Beatles atm. I have 9 albums and 5 compilations at home and now listen to the albums chronologically to see how they evolved over time...
Don't judge, the weather is shitty and therefore I have a lot of free time

Listening to the VSQ (Vitamin String Quartet) performing Bon Iver. Really amazing - I especially love their version of Halocene.
You can listen to it here on myspace: Holocene Edit: Oops. Seems like you can only listen to 30sec. on myspace. Shame
Sometimes when I listen to music (I think that's actually sth. a lot of people do) I think "This is so hauntingly beautiful, that it needs to be played in the background in some heartbreaking scene in a movie! And if nobody ever does that movie, I'll have to do it myself because this song is just so damn good!"
P.S.: Listened to 9 Beatles albums and 2 compilations in the past 2 days.

A Somebody that I used to know/Call me maybe mashup I didn't expect this to be, but it was actually pretty good - though the video confuses me a bit

I still haven't listened to Call Me Maybe. Guess I'll have to stop avoiding that song when glee will inevitably cover it.

How do you succeed in avoiding it? It seems to appear everywhere. (malls, stores, pubs, waiting rooms, etc.)

I have a tendency to sing along to Call Me Maybe whenever it comes on the radio while driving. Not quiet singing either.

Lucky indeed! My mom's friend won two tickets over the radio and she couldn't go so she gave them to my mom for free! My sister and her friend were already going so my friend and I had a ride too! Ahhh it was so amazing, I can't believe I went.
