According to this interesting article I'm reading, once upon a time boys used to be dressed in pink and girls in blue.
This is from a 1918 magazine:
"There has been a great diversity of opinion on the subject, but the
generally accepted rule is pink for the boy and blue for the girl. The
reason is that pink being a more decided and stronger color is more
suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty,
is prettier for the girl."
then the Nazis changed the rules
"Catholic traditions in Germany and neighboring countries reverse the
current color coding, because of the strong association of blue with
the Virgin Mary...the NAZIs in their concentration camps use a pink
triangle to identify homosexuals. (The yellow star of David is the
best known symbol, used of course to identify Jews. The German system
was quite complicated, using various symbols an colors to identify
criminals, political prisinors, an a whole range of other groups). The
NAZI's choice of pink suggests that it by the 1930s was a color that
in Germany had become associate with girls."

Sydney I love you. So many pretty landscapes I saw like the Harbour Brdige and the Opera House. Now at the airport waiting for our flight at 6:10pm sydney time.

They still did pink socks for newborn boys and blue socks for newborn girls where I lived as a li'l kid. (as I recall)

My Monday feels like the longest one in existence. Lol. How is yours?

Mine is ok, but I'm feeling a fever coming, which is not good.

Yes, they are filming, and if I remember correctly they were only given a 13 episode order, so they'll be done filming long before it even airs... And with such long breaks people will fall off, and not return to it, and then there won't be anymore after that because the ratings are too low. /worstcasescenariothinking

I'm having a super lazy monday. Not even out of bed yet
My phone is ringing, neighbor needs to go to the store, and my grandma wants me to come over, and I just can't find the will to get up and get dressed today so I'm ignoring it all. For now anyway, eventually I will have to start this day and get some stuff done.

Hope it's just one of those 24 hour bugs Isa, and that you feel better very soon

I think I'll be ok soon. I had a buzy weekend and I couldn't rest, so that's probably it.

And btw, my boss said ok to China in October, so I'm really going with my friends.

I was just searching today if it would make sense to visit Australia while I'm here. I would really love to, but it is still a very long flight even from here. 16 hours from Dubai, plus 3h30 to Dubai and connection times. You guys are so far from everything...

Thanks Isa! Yeah I wish we were closer to like the USA or UK or even the other countries (besides NZ lol). It sucks
