| I have a sore throat today so I went to a frozen yogurt bar and got a bowl of frozen yogurt with three different kinds- tart blueberry topped with fresh blueberries, mango topped with fresh mango, and pink lemonade topped with fresh rasberries. Heaven. | |

| Oh god I love chilli cheese fries; they're always on special at the watering hole. They make their chilli with hot sauce and cayenne peppers, so it's soooooooooo warm and delicious. Had a chilli cheese burger there on Friday. | |

| Having marmalade on toast for the first time, and it's actually kinda gross. I LOVE berry jams, but idk what the hell I'm eating. | |

| I saw lemon curd next to the orange marmalade at the grocery store the other day. I don't think I've ever had lemon curd. | |

| Frying potatoes is much harder than I thought it would be. | |

| I've no doubt! Slicing them up and putting them in the oven is much simpler. | |

| I had never tried to fry them before and it wasn't my most successful cooking attempt. | |

| I tried it once, and they were still mostly raw so I threw them in the oven. But if they're boiled beforehand that's not a problem though. | |

| I'll have to do something different next time. I might try the boiling. | |

| Do you eat boiled potatoes over in the states nowadays? I remember my grandparents were over there many years ago to visit some far out family, and she told me then they ate potatoes made in every which way, just not boiled, and she was so glad to come home and eat a "proper" dinner again with boiled potatoes | |

| It's the most common way to eat potatoes here. Traditional norwegian dinner (and my favorite): | |

| Meh, I don't like boiled potatoes as much as other ways; it takes all the flavour out (Which is good in like, roasts and stuff, but not for potatoes on their own).
Frying them is just wayyyy better. That said I nearly always bake or BBQ them.

| BBQed onions are awesome too. I could just shove them in a sandwich and eat them like that. | |

| It's ground meat mixed with some flour, spices, and sometimes an egg, depending on the recipe, and rolled into meatballs and fried. Nothing advanced, lol. Only trick is to get them soft, and not hard. Grandmas meatballs are the best, because she's got that shit down!
Some kinds of potatoes we eat with the skin on as well, because that's where all the vitamins are.

| I tried frying potatoes once and the problem was that the kitchen was absolutely covered with cooking oil after I fried them. Potatoes were nice. Cleaning was not so nice. | |

| I'm not a fan of boiled potatoes either. Feel like you have to cover them in salty butter to make them taste good or anything. Lol. We fry potatoes all the time here. We call them chips. They're not like American chips but they're not really like fries either because they're usually a lot thicker: Although some people do them in a pan, you can buy a proper deep fat fryer to do them:
