What if the Bo killing those fae wasn’t actually Bo. We’re led to believe it is, since Bo is going through this dawning, but I don’t think that is the case at all. What if it was Kenzi?

They aren’t sure if a succubus killed those fae, but a succubus kill should be fairly easy to spot, now shouldn’t it? They figured it out right away in the pilot.

Think about it.

There must be more to this Kenzi story, especially if she had powers or else they wouldn’t mention it. So she could have unknowingly glamoured into Bo and gone all “succubus”. And because she’s human getting a power she was never meant to have, she had no control over it and no memory of it.

Makes sense, yeah? Thoughts?

That seems like something they'd do, yeah! So you're saying Kenzi turned into Bo without realising it and started feeding? Wouldn't she still show the succubus kill signs on the victims?
And i'm confused, Kenzi is just normal now yeah?? That was a random storyline.

It wouldn't show as a succubus kill, because glamouring into Bo, wouldn't give her succubus powers. She only had Inari's powers.

And yeah, Inari took her powers back, so Kenzi is normal now.

I'm thinking it's because of every time she uses her weird fae power.

Yeah but hasn't she has that power for like, ever? You'd think she would have used it quite a bit.
It probably grows back though right? haha

Well, there's obviously something to her.
Perhaps every time she uses her power she gets closer to her real form (the skeleton looking thing)?
My guess is she's gonna need saving, possibly from herself, but definitely from the Morrigan and the Dark, and she will either become Light, or unaligned like Bo, and hopefully join their happy sunshine gang

OMG what is up with this first Dyson/Trick conversation??? It's so awkward. I don't know if it's the acting or the writing, but cringeeee.

Also this "rite of passage" stuff reeks of storyline desperation.

Short-term because Fae lives for hundreds of years, humans don't. Lauren will get old, Bo won't. It doesn't mean anything for the show unless they would time jump into the far off future for some reason.

Edit: well, it may actually mean something for the show, because I know they're gonna be dealing with the whole dynamic of their humans friends getting older while Bo etc won't. At least I know Kenzi will deal with some of that, so I guess it'll play into Lauren and Bo's relationship as well.

What determines how old a fae gets before they stop ageing?

I don't know, but Dyson is already a few hundred years, so I guess by the time they reach maturity, they stay that way for a long time. There was an episode with a 900 years old fae that looked to be in his 60' or 70's.

I'm crying at the Bo/Mum scene.

It was a great scene!

I haven't watched this week's episode yet. Crazy, I know. But it's going to be my reward for when I've submitted my essays. Lol.
