Thanks, Lilly! She is so cute (I'm totally obsessing with her)... but she doesn't say anything important.

So excited about the finale! yahoo Maybe I'll wake up earlier tomorrow and watch the episode before I go to work... scratch

I wanted to post a gif I found on tumblr. It's from season 1 with Emily saying "It seems like A has a split personality". Rá! But I can't find it... Sad

This is interesting: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Pretty-Little-Liars-Finale-1062897.aspx

Not really spoilers, but Janel Parrish talking a bit more about the finale.

Spoiler:

There is also a photo of a page of the script going around on tumblr.

Yeah, remember when I said that

Spoiler:

Ok, another thing. The finale pays homage to North by Northwest (Hitchcock). The plot:

Quote :
Roger O. Thornhill is an advertiser who is mistaken with George Kaplan by Phillip and Leonard. They kidnap Roger to learn how much he knows about their operation.

Eve Kendall is a bystander who decides to help Roger. Later Roger finds out that she is collaborating with Phillip and Leonard. Later on another twist: she is actually a double agent working for the US government to get Phillip and Leonard.

George Kaplan is a fictional character created by the US government in a plot to expose Phillip.

Roger is told by the US government about the plot and decides to help Eve (they have fallen in love). Roger and Eve fake an argument, in which Roger is (fake) hurt to convince Phillip that Eve is loyal to him.

Roger learns that Phillip and Leonard found out about the fake argument and plan to kill Eve. Roger goes after her to alert her and they escape climbing Mount Rushmore (famous scene). Phillip and Leonard are caught by the police.

So, my thinking, just trying to connect the dots:

- Maybe Ali's murder involves a case of mistaken identity

- Spencer as the double-agent: She says Mona her plan is to set up the girls at the Hastings' party (in Thornhill) but in reality she plans on exposing the A-team.

- The PLLs find out something is wrong and go to Thornhill (the house) to alert Spencer. They help her expose the A-team or show she is loyal to the A-team.

- The fictional character is Vivian Darkbloom?

- Toby and Spencer are Roger and Eve falling in love

Okay guys. A list of things to look out for in the finale (this is a reminder for me haha):
- Alison's killer is revealed.
- All members of the black-hoodie team.
- Who Jenna was speaking to in the park in 2x25.
- Who was the QoH? (i wonder if the answer to this is implied, or directly stated... same with who Jenna was talking to...and Ali's killer)
- Who is the dead body in the woods.

EDIT - Wait, i think Jenna was talking to Mona in the woods. It would fit with the Jenna/Mona finale scene in the rain. Like a parallel.

Isn't there a scene where RC and black-hoodie are in a physical fight... in the rain... Does that mean it's Jenna as RC? And Mona in the hoodie scratch (am i making shit up? haha)

Wren and Ezra - ship it Laughing

Ok, Rosie, just for fun, I'll try and make guesses:

- Alison's killer is revealed. => Ali/twin sister
- All members of the black-hoodie team. => Mona, Toby, Spencer, Wren and Cece
- Who Jenna was speaking to in the park in 2x25. => Ali/twin sister
- Who was the QoH? => Cece
- Who is the dead body in the woods. => Jason

Wild guesses with Cece. I think QoH could be Wren. The only thing that feels really right is the dead body being Jason.

Yeah haha. Jason seems obvious........ I don't see how they can tell us that Alison's killer was her twin though. I think the twin revelation will be season 4.

I'll go QoH as Wren. Remember it was hinted to be a man.

I'm trying to read that Hitchcock thing, but for some reason I cannot for the life of me make sense of it??
I think i'm tired.

Yeah, you are right.

It seems too much information to be revealed for just one episode when there's a new season coming, btw. So I'm still unsure we will get Ali's killer. Maybe that's how Ali's killer is revealed: there is no Ali's killer because Ali is alive. But then in season 4 we will learn that's not Ali, it's her twin sister.

You mean the plot of North by Northwest or the connection with PLL? It's probably more like a themes thing than a matter of the plot being linked. Like the 2B finale, the connection with Psycho were in terms of scenes (the shower scene, the last scene with Mona being crazy) and the whole motel setting. So I'm guessing mistaken identity and double agent are the big keys here.

Ha! Plot twist.

Mistaken identity like Twin being mistaken for Ali?
I see what you mean.

Yeah, something like that.

The big thing about North by Northwest is that the main character is mistaken with someone else by the bad guys who then try to kill the main character thinking he knows too much which is not true, because someone else is actually a plot created by the good guys to get the bad guys. If the writers are trying to pay homage to North by Northwest, I think that is what they would use.

To me, this screams Ali/twin sister, Vivian Darkbloom/red coat, A-team. And then on top of it you add the double agent (Spencer, maybe Toby???) who is working with the bad guys to help the good guys.

Btw, faking an argument could be important too.

Idea:

- Twin sister finds information about Bad guy 1) while she was posing as Ali or 2) while she was at Radley

- Bad guy starts tormenting Ali even though Ali doesn't know information

- Ali creates Vivian Darkbloom to find what is going on

- Bad guy kills twin sister thinking it's Ali who got the information

- Ali goes hiding but keeps trying to help the PLLs find what's going on

- Thinking the PLLs know more about information, Bad guy starts tormenting the PLLs

- Fed up with everything Spencer goes to the dark side to infiltrate the Bad guy's team

- Spencer sets up the PLLs to Mona but she is actually faking it to expose the Bad guy

- The PLLs find out about Spencer being a double agent and go after her in that house to alert her about ???

Question: Why is Mona with the PLLs?

Just seen the episode! I think some people will be disappointed because we didn't really learn that much, but I think it was a good finale. More thoughts soon! I'll use spoilers tags.

Ok, first off, this was confusing! I need to rewatch the episode. I think the show is hyping itself too high. It makes sense from the business point of view, but in the end it's a mistake. I did enjoy the finale though.

Anyway, my first observations:
