I've totally resuscitated my Led love. It was kinda buried. I'm now listening to Stairway to Heaven.

hehe I have my sister for that I'm more of a 'In the moment'-person and always count on the people with me to take pictures and make videos, because I'm always too lost in everything that is happening than to be bothered to take a camera out

I'm not the greatest fan of Cold Play. I'd probably enjoy a show, but I think all their musics sound the same? Kinda bland for me.

I'm not a big fan of the new album - it's sort of flat imo compared to X&Y and Viva la Vida but yeah - still they have a bunch of songs i know by heart and love. So since I didn't get tickets last year I'm really happy, that I'll be going to this years tour

Their first two albums are great. Then they began to decline a bit and their last two albums do sound all the same. Their show is totally worth a couple of dollars though . Martin is great frontman and the band sounds good. SPOILERRRRRRRR They have big yellow balls, confetti and fireworks that make it pretty enjoyable.
my fav

I listen to a lot Singer/Songwriter stuff and some of them are really good german artists with smart lyrics and I have to translate this one verse because it's so very spot on
The title of the song is: Mirror, mirror and in the chorus he sings:
Quote :
"And now look at yourself And then tell me: Do you really think you're that interesting When you wallow in your pain Blah blah blah, is it really that terrific To be helpless? You're so great and make yourself so oddly small You're always so intent on what's missing And now stop looking so tormented Because it looks like shit."
This song is the very definition of tough love and I love it!

Bon Iver is simply incredible. There is so much thought put behind everything - from lead guitar to something as simple as a triangle. THESE are real musicians, who create something unique and special and so hauntingly beautiful. Not just reproduce the same chords and beat for the billions time.

Saw Bon Iver at Glastonbury 2009. I wasn't really into them before that but after I saw them live I became addicted to their music for like 6 months solid.

They're even worth travelling somewhere to see. If they play anywhere relatively close to you turn it into a holiday

How amazing is Janelle Monae's album? Listening to it on the way to Cardiff in my sister's car. I've heard a couple of her songs, but really, the whole album is brilliant. Did not know until just now that she's in the original version of We Are Young. Cool.

Oldies, but goodies mood today. Been listening to a lot of Cat Stevens, CCR and George Harrison. When I was a child one of my favorite albums was Cloud Nine, by Harrison. I remember the old vinil my dad still owns. It took me several years (really, several...) to realize George Harrison was the same George from The Beatles.
This is still one of favorite songs, it gives me so many good memories of my childhood. Also this clip is amazing. LOL

I feel so ashamed for not even remotely liking The Beatles
Anyway, enjoying some classical music this early evening.

So Coldplay was yesterday and it was AMAZING. Great atmosphere and just a perfect concert. One moment I'm sure that I'll never ever forget, was the beginning of the concert.
At the entry we were all given bracelets but didn't really know what they were for. Then, after the intro this happened (found the video online, as I already said, I never really make any videos or fotos - from 0:53):
